The City of North Aurora had two requests for our team during the entitlements process.

One: the property would incorporate a variety of landscaping elements; and two: the new exterior would be all brick.

When it came to our design approach we decided to retain some elements of the old school bowling alley, including the sweeping roof canopy. Faux doors and the retro blade sign were new additions — an intentional nod to the 1950’s aesthetic of the original building.
