More than 50 percent of the 21-acre site consisted of protected wetlands, which mandated a barrier separating the natural area with the portion to be developed. The local code also required construction of a retention basin to collect stormwater runoff, and a variance from the township board of zoning appeals was necessary since it did not allow for self-storage.
Our team's stellar track record of entitlements approvals and deep experience with both sloping and flat sites and on-site retention basins ultimately led to another successful utilization of the prototype design standards we created for our client.
